David Liem is the senior consultant for web marketing of Happy Marketer. His expertise lies in social media marketing, Web 2.0 design & marketing, and corporate training. He is certified by Google as a Qualified Advertising Professional, and an Analytics Consultant.
For over 5 years, David has trained for all types of audiences, from children to teens, to leaders in the education and corporate world. David’s experiences have allowed him to lead and manage programes and workshops involving business training such as social media marketing, copywriting, website design, search engine optimization, search engine advertising, web analytics, desktop publishing, as well as soft skills training like accelerated learning, leadership development, and presentation skills.
His programs and workshops have been attended by participants from the airline, telecommunication, education, service, recruitment, investment, tourism, property, non-profit and government organizations. Some of the more notable organizations that have undergone successful training with him include AirAsia, JobsDB, Starhub, PhillipCapital, SPRING Singapore, Adam Khoo Learning Technologies, Nets, Courts, Sunway City Bhd, IDRC, NTUC FairPrice, 3M, EuYanSang, HDB, NLB, CNN.com, NEA, and Tourism New Zealand.
His well-received experiential, encouraging and energetic approach towards training has seen him rising among the professionals in the field of corporate training in both Singapore and overseas. Prior to Happy Marketer, David help positions such as Strategic Marketing Consultant, Corporate Training Programme Consultant, and Trainer for a regional educational company.
David holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics from the University of Victoria, Canada. He is a Master Practitioner of NLP certified by Dr Richard Bandler, the founder of NLP. He is also an Advanced Communicator Silver in the Toastmasters International Public Speaking program and has held many leadership positions within the organization. David was also active in AIESEC, the world’s largest student organisation.
